Elections, elections, elections! It is that time of year again! It’s time to make the big decision of who will best
represent you in this year’s neighborhood association Board of Directors.

represent you in this year’s neighborhood association Board of Directors.
The first New Mexico Route 66 Motor Tour is happening July 23-25 running from Tucumcari to Gallup. Spend three days exploring communities along America's Main Street. Stop where ever and whenever you want; take time to enjoy New Mexico's beautiful scenery and hospitality. Stops along the route will have BBQ's, car shows, sidewalk sales, a neon cruise, passport stops and more.

•August 4- 6:30 HHHDA Board Elections at Preservation Station
•August 7- 9:00 Highland Park clean up with Ryan Bromberg followed at 10 by a half hour yoga with Bea of Bhava Yoga -free
•August 29- Annual picnic and Block Party (see above for more info)

Please join us for an end of the summer celebration. The 400 block of Walter SE will be blocked off for a big party. There will be music, dancing in the street, games and piñatas for the kids. We are planning on grilling meats, vegetables and making fajitas. We will also have salsa and chips and other delicious food.
This is your chance to tour the new community garden and gas station. It is time for us to create the friendly, safe and supportive neighborhood we want to live in.
We are asking for volunteers to bring food, charcoal, chairs, tables, and garbage bags. We are also asking for help setting up and hanging lights and decorations.

Commissioner Hart Stebbins would like to cordially invite you to attend “Movies in the Park.” We will be hosting movies open to the public throughout the County. The District 3 event will be held at McKinley Community Center and feature “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" on Friday July 9. All shows begin at dusk.
